Jackson’s Kratom reviewed
Did you know that some Kratom vendors mix a few of their strains with other compounds to increase their potency? These vendors will do this without any empathy whatsoever and still claim to have some of the most potent Kratom strains that are 100% organic when they are actually taking harmful shortcuts.
One of the reasons why Kratom is preferred over chemical drugs is its organic nature. Pure Kratom powder is much better in treating specific ailments than over the counter medications. The herbs are not just effective, but they are also a lot safer. All of that goes out of the window if you are taking contaminated Kratom.
The best results come from 100% organic Kratom strains. It’s a shame that some vendors are trying to cheat their way to success, but the fact that the industry is mostly uncontrolled means that no one can put an end to the practice. Instead, the responsibility lies with the buyers who are forced to be extra keen in making sure that they are purchasing Kratom from the right suppliers.
Is Jackson’s Kratom one of the good guys?
About Jackson’s Kratom
Jackson’s Kratom is a New York-based Kratom vendor known for supplying different Kratom products to the public and the proprietary sector. Besides stocking some of the most common Kratom strains, they also have a few accessories that can make your everyday Kratom life effortless. For instance, they have empty gelatin capsules, ultra-fine powder, capsule ready powder, and the capsule machine. You can use the powder and these accessories to make Kratom capsules from your home. In case you didn’t know, making Kratom capsules is actually a very simple task. Sure it takes some time plus it needs some practice to master the art, but it saves you more cash over the long haul than buying Kratom capsules. Making your own capsules also eliminates the possibility of adultered Kratom capsules, especially if you are using the right powder. You can check out our guide on how to make Kratom capsules for more details.
Apart from catering for your small orders, Jackson’s Kratom can also hook you up with wholesale merchandise. You can get as much as 400 units (each unit contains 600mg) of a strain for just $99.50. This is the same price as buying three bottles of 100 units each except in this case you will get an extra 100 units for absolutely free. But of course, the prices will vary depending on the specific strain you are buying, so you can expect to pay more for a strain like Maeng Da Kratom.
I’d say Jackson’s Kratom website is okay. It could do better, but its current state is just good enough to navigate with some ease. They’ve done an excellent job of grouping the Kratoms so you can access the strain you need with ease. If you tend to buy the same strain frequently, you won’t have to go through the hustle of finding it and adding it to your cart every time you are shopping. Instead, you can simply click on reorder, and you’ll be directed to the billing page.
Here are a few shortcomings of the website; first, identifying the vein color of the strain that you are purchasing is extremely difficult. We even tried to use the search bar to see whether we could see the specific vein color of some of the strains, but our efforts didn’t bear any fruits. This is a major drawback.
Secondly, the company has done very little to educate the buyers about Kratom as a whole and the specific strains they are selling. Each item has a product description, but then most of the descriptions are generic, and only a few ones discuss the specific details of the strain in question. They have a blog page, but it doesn’t carry any useful information, plus it hasn’t been updated since 2013. The News segment has some updates on the legality of Kratom, but they are all very old pieces, like 2016 old.
We also couldn’t help but notice the absence of a link to shipping and return policies.
The product catalog is nowhere as extensive as we would have loved. Certain strains are clearly missing and especially the white vein Kratom.
The following are some of the capsulated strains that you can buy from Jackson’s Kratom:
- Red Vein Borneo Kratom
- Super Green Borneo
- Green Malay Kratom
- Bali Kratom
- Thai Kratom
- Maeng Da Kratom
- Elephant Kratom
Under Crushed Leaf, you will find:
- Maeng Da
- Red Vein Borneo
Finally, the powder section features:
- Capsule ready powder of Maeng Da, Thai, Green Malay, Elephant, Bali, and Red Vein Borneo strains
- Ultra Fine powder of all the strains highlighted above plus some stem & vein
You can also buy empty gelatin capsules and a capsule machine.
Jackson’s Kratom website does not mention anything to do with third-party lab tests or anything like that. They claim to be interested in delivering the freshest strains in the market, but then they haven’t given any details on cGMP practices they are implementing, which is quite conflicting.
Without the lab test results or at least a highlight of the good manufacturing practices they are utilizing, we have no option but to rely on the user reviews. Luckily for them, a majority of the reviews are impressive. Most of the people who’ve bought from Jackson’s Kratom were pleased with the results. We saw a couple of negative feedback here and there, but nothing too serious to raise the red flags.
Jackson’s Kratom prices are on the higher end. You can purchase 50 units of Super Green Borneo Kratom for $18.95. Let’s do some quick math, shall we? A single unit is around 600mg so 50 units is 50 x 600 = 30,000mg. Convert this into grams, and you get 30g. How does $18.95 for 30 grams of Super Green Borneo Kratom capsules compare to the competition? You can get the same number of capsules for $17.99 from PurKratom, while Kraken Kratom can hook you up with an ounce for just $15.29. Both of them are highly rated suppliers.
Jackson’s Kratom is, however, cheaper than our other favorite store, Coastline Kratom, who is selling the same strain for a whopping $34.99.
Shipping and Return Policy
Jackson’s Kratom provides free standard shipping. You’ll have to dish out a few dollars if you want expedited shipping.
The company does not accept any returns! This is a significant drawback that you may need to consider before deciding whether you are going to place your order here or look for an alternative.
There are several issues about Jackson’s Kratom that don’t sit well with us. First, we believe the website needs a complete overhaul. They’ve done an alright job in grouping the products, but that’s about it. You’ll have a difficult time finding the specific vein colors you are looking for. They may also want to include some informative pieces on each strain as well as on their policies in regards to shipping, returns, and privacy. Some FAQs wouldn’t hurt as well. The lack of a return policy and the slightly steep prices are also quite limiting.
In conclusion, if you can work your way around these drawbacks, then I think it’s fine to give them a shot. They do, after all, have some great user feedbacks that make a compelling case. However, I personally believe that rectifying the above issues is paramount in improving the overall user experience.
